As they danced to the rhythm of the song, they realised that this was what they needed all along. Drugs hadn’t done it, liquor, neither. But a good song, with a good beat and the right voice to go with it, took away their pain. And as they swirled beautifully to the music, they wished they could go on a non-stop binge on it.
Music gave them life; problems forgotten, pain unfelt, joy instilled. It was better than any drug ever taken. While the drugs touched their minds, music touched their souls. so, they just danced, and danced, till they felt not even a tad of their erstwhile sorrows
